On Monday we had our first girls football match against Cherry Tree. For most of the team it was their first experience of a football fixture, although you wouldn't have been able to tell with their exceptional performance! The main match finished 0-0. However, there were plenty of Beechfield chances. As a result, we then had a penalty shootout which Beechfield won 5-2, thanks to some brilliant penalties and some amazing saves from Yara in goal! The smiles, enjoyment, and camaraderie shared by all was a delight to see. Every single girl was fantastic and a credit to the school. Well done girls!
