Summer Party

We held our annual summer 'Proud to me day' at Beechfield on today.
Year 5 and 6 started the day with a visit from our Local Hate Crime Police Officer who ran an assembly about Hate Crime and how we can prevent it in our town. Reception and Nursery then got to talk to the Police Officer (as part of their people who help us learning), see the police car and listen to the siren.
All of the year groups participated in different learning activities in the morning to celebrate their uniqueness. An ice cream van, a bouncy castle and an afternoon party with a disco helped us to celebrate being part of our Beechfield community. After school our parents joined us to continue the celebrations.
