Alan Fisher from Watford Synagogue, came in to talk to the children about Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest. He shared how Shabbat is a special time for family, reflection, and tradition, starting on Friday evening and ending on Saturday evening.

The children learnt about the importance of family meals, attending synagogue, and other customs that help mark this significant time in the Jewish week. It was a valuable and engaging session that helped deepen our understanding of Jewish life and beliefs.
