Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) offers a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and eager to learn. We aim to build strong foundations in early reading through high-quality phonics teaching using the Read, Write, Inc. scheme, helping children develop confidence and a love of reading from the very start. We also aim to develop secure mathematical understanding through a mastery approach, following NCETM guidance and using White Rose resources to support learning through practical, engaging activities. Through play, exploration, and close partnerships with families, we aim to support every child as they grow, thrive, and begin their learning journey.

We use Tapestry as an online learning journal to share your child’s progress with you. Through regular observations, photos, and updates, parents can see what their child has been learning and how they are developing. Tapestry also allows families to share achievements from home, helping us to work together to support each child’s learning and development.
